Mara Explorer is situated on a broad, thickly forested bend of the Talek River in the very heart of the Maasai Mara National Reserve.
This luxurious tented camp lies at the confluence of the Masai Mara’s four main game-viewing areas, and enjoys prime views of the spectacular wildebeest migration between July and September.
During the remainder of the year, herds of watering elephant, hippos and other animals can often be seen from your private veranda. Come and enjoy our marvellous camp!

Mara Explorer Camp is situated on a broad thickly forest bend of the Talek River in the middle of the Maasai Mara National Reserve. Mara Explorer has its own all-weather airstrip.

Accommodation
Mara Explorer Camp has 10 luxurious and well spaced tents, each with its own private deck overlooking the Talek River. 7 of the tents have giant double beds while 3 have twin beds.

Food
Meals are prepared using fresh vegetables and herbs grown in the camp gardens.
